Neurotoxin Cosmetic &Therapeutic

A neurotoxin injection relaxes certain targeted muscles such as marionette lines, ‘number 11′ frown lines, crow’s feet, smokers’ lines, platysmal bands in the neck, dimply chin, down turned mouth corners etc.

Therapeutic treatments include hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating), migraines, muscle spasticity, TMJ pain, neck and back pain/spasms, eye twitching. It takes 3 to 14 days to start showing an effect and results last 3 to 4 months. Over time with upkeep of treatments muscles start to atrophy (like any muscle that is not working!) and you will likely need fewer products with greater time span.

Facial expression lines are created by contractions of the underlying muscles, pulling the skin together when you smile, laugh or frown. A neurotoxin injection gently relaxes these muscles that cause the overlying skin to fold and crease – wrinkles. A minute quantity of the injectable protein is injected into the wrinkle with a tiny micro-needle.

The treatment itself generally requires less than 10 minutes. Within three to five days following the treatment, frown or laugh lines are reduced. The ongoing progression of the wrinkle will be prevented during the course of the treatment.

The injectable used at ReNew is an interesting cosmetic treatment as it is one of the very few cosmetic treatments that originated from the medical treatment of eye spasms and safely used for over twenty years. Due to long term use, there have been many studies which have shown positive benefits with relatively rare, temporary side effects.

The Appeal of Trap Tox: Beyond Aesthetics – At first glance, the beauty world might seem all about the surface, the aesthetics, the visual appeal. But those in the know understand that true beauty treatments often go beyond skin deep. And getting neurotoxin in your traps is the perfect embodiment of this philosophy.

The trapezius muscles, those broad bands stretching across our shoulders and down our backs, are more than just another muscle group. They’re the silent workhorses of our daily lives. Think about it: whenever you lift a bag, reach for something on a high shelf, or even type away at your computer, your trapezius muscles are hard at work. They’re involved in many of our daily activities, yet they’re often overlooked and underappreciated.

But here’s the thing: when these muscles are overworked or strained, the effects can be debilitating. Tension, discomfort, and even pain can become constant companions. And for those who are particularly active or have jobs that require repetitive motions, this discomfort can seriously impact the quality of life.

Enter Trap Tox. It’s about more than just achieving that sculpted, runway-ready neckline, although that’s a perk! It’s about relief. It’s about addressing the strain and tension accumulating in the trapezius muscles over time. By targeting these muscles with a neurotoxin, Trap Tox offers a dual benefit: aesthetic enhancement and genuine relief from discomfort. Trap Tox solves both physical discomfort and aesthetic concerns, tapping into a deep-seated desire for holistic well-being.

The Trap Tox Procedure and Results – At its core, the treatment involves a series of precise injections into the trapezius muscles, typically lasting between 10 to 20 minutes. But what sets it apart is the meticulousness of the process. An estimate of neurotoxin units for each side would be determined in a consultation. A tailored approach ensures that the treatment is not just a one-size-fits-all solution but is customized to each individual’s needs. The results speak for themselves: a more refined shoulder contour, reduced muscle tension, and an overall boost in self-confidence.
